shipped item from China, took a while but got here as described. no battery as described but on the box it says there is one…so i guess they took it out of the box to save costs. i had gotten the exact same model thermometer via ebay and when i put it side by side the readings were slightly different by a few degrees which was a bit strange but maybe it takes more than 1-2 minutes to reach the same readings. anyway seems to work fine, have no way to know if the readings are accurate but seems to be just from observation. anyway cheap and item sent as described. pretty decent.
